Cardiovascular training

Cardiovascular training is the basis of all physical activity. Without this type of training one can not expect to improve performance.

It is a well documented fact that cardio vascular training increases lifespan as well as its quality. Cardiovascular training has  been proven to protect against degeneration of the cardio vascular system.

Other aspects of your training will benefit from a strong cardiovascular basis.

Cardiovascular training is also considered the ultimate style of training to help people lose weight.

At the Olympic Training Center we have 60 machines for cardio training. Part of them are located in a so-called “cardio theatre” equipped with plasma televisions, and the remaining machines are individually equipped with a television screen.

Strength training

Strength training has a number of benefits not least of which is helping you to lose weight and, of course, keeping your body strong. If you include some strength training in your workout, you will increase your muscle size.
An increased muscle mass will increase your metabolic rate which will help burn stored energy (fat) even when you are not exercising. Imagine that, being able to reduce your fat when not even exercising !

We have taken great care to choose the best and most effective machines for strength training.

We have 110 machines dedicated to strength training. Such a variety and number of machines gives you the opportunity to choose the machine that suits your needs, and eliminates waiting times between every exercise. It can also make you better at other sports and it reduces your risk of injury.

Stretching

Since flexibility is an important component of fitness, stretching should be an integral part of every workout program.

Stretching will also reduce your risk of injury. Indeed, a flexible muscle is less likely to become injured.

At the Olympic Training Center we have a separate room for stretching exercises.

for athletes who have special training programs and who need free weights for target training.
